Metal Spinners Pty Ltd operating for 52 years has established a reputation for producing quality products. Pizza trays theyre one of the first items to be manufactured. Over the years markets have changed, mid 80’s saw the creation of home delivery and pan pizza. Since then they have developed an extensive range of pizza pans and trays for commercial and domestic use. In addition they work closely with all the major pizza chains in Australasia, assisting them with product design and their equipment needs. In 1985 Metal Spinners decided they should move into the 21st century and purchase an automatic machine. It was purchased with the attitude that if you can provide a service the work will come. At the time there was only one other automatic lathe in the country. The decision to purchase an automatic machine coincided with the birth of Dial-a Pizza in Australia. South Australia was where it all began.

They now have 3 automatic spinning machines which enable them to produce high quality products efficiently, accurately and consistently. By having automatic spinning machines if you had a product designed and manufactured in 1985 and need some additional parts today they would be supplied identically to the ones you purchased 25 years ago unlike hand spinning where variations and inconsistencies can occur from one part to another.

In the early 1990’s they were the first Metal Spinner to be accreted with ISO 9001 which they still maintain today. This ensures consistency of the manufacturing process. They like to consider themselves versatile in the spinning industry, they don’t just manufacture pizza equipment. Other industries they manufacture for range from, Farming, Mining, Automotive, Outdoor lighting, Hospitality, General Industrial & Monumental Vases.

Metal spinning is a process that is used to produce round sheet metal objects with the assistance of a lathe. Most materials can be spun including Mild Steel, Aluminium, Copper, Brass, Galv, Stainless Steel just to name a few.

They have the ability to do one off’s or 100,000’s on time with consistency.

Their pizza pans and trays are manufactured in both aluminium and mild steel, ranging in size from 5” to 24”. They also offer a burning in service. This has been available since 2005 and this saves customers the unpleasant task of burning the pans or trays. When the pans arrive they are ready to use. They all know what it is like burning in pans and smoking out your freshly painted shop. One of their large customers has been purchasing anodised Aluminium Pans for over 20 years.

Metal Spinners have the knowledge, experience and expertise to be able to sit down with a client and design a pizza pan for their requirements. They are not restricted to just round pizza pans; and have produced square or rectangular pans for special projects for clients. Metal Spinners also manufacture sponge tins, muffin tins, pasta and desert bowls and can manufacture custom items for special promotional needs. Other products in the range include pizza accessories such as rocking knifes, dough cutters, etc. They stock stainless steel display trays to display in your shop to show your customers the size of pizzas you sell.
